Located in a small village in Ticino, it has a huge and diversified garden whitch offers a wide view of Lombardy, with Milan on the left and the Alps on the right.
There are two bedrooms on the 1st floor and a living space. The kitchen and the dining room are on the ground floor, as in the past… The dining room has a large fireplace constructed by the hearth, in red Arzo marble, typically Ticino and opens onto a portico overlooking the large garden.
The largest, bright room, whose original area we kept, has a direct view of Lombardy and the Alps. It has a matrimonial bed.
In front of this room, there is the second bedroom, also with a matrimonial bed (separable into 2 beds if you need it) and a comfortable bathroom.
Nearby, there are many possibilities for hiking in the mountains.
Sagno is located at the beginning of the Muggio Valley, elected the most beautiful valley in Switzerland a few years ago. The small villages aroud are charming and the few small typical restaurants offer a neat and simple cuisine, with good local products, often at km 0.
In this beautiful region of Italian lakes, Lugano and its lake are located about 20 km, Como Lake 10 km, Milano 40 km, Maggiore Lake also about 40 km.
One of the owners lives on the spot. She is often present, has her separate living space and is happy to advise you on what to discover in the surrounding area. She is of a dual culture, Ticino and French.
